Doha – Mubasher: A.M. Best has kept Qatar Islamic Insurance Company’s (QIIC) financial strength rating of B++ (Good) and the long-term issuer credit rating of “bbb+”, according to a statement.
The rating agency affirmed its “Stable” outlook on the Qatar-listed company.
The ratings reflect the Qatar-listed firm’s “excellent” operating performance, “niche” business profile and adequate capitalisation.
The company’s stock rose 0.74% to QAR 54.40 by 11:50am Qatar time, with a turnover of QAR 7,900 generated from the exchange of 145 shares.
